Halo: Reach Blackout?

Did any else notice that for 3 days our stats on Halo Reach were offline and we were recruits for a good while? everything just started coming back in the last few hours but does anybody know why there was a blackout like that?

I have a feeling it has something to do with either the custom challenge removal or for the eventual FGwG days thats coming on the 16th.
