Re-experiencing the Halo Timeline
By:Urban Reflex

For about 7 years now, I've been keeping a Halo Timeline spreadsheet that details the rough order in which the media flows. This isn't an exact chronological order of events, and nor is it meant to be. It's simply my log of what I believe is the best order in which the franchise is to be enjoyed.

You can view it here: http://urbanreflex.net/halotimeline.htm

The main reason I created this sheet in the first place was so that I had a reference for whenever I wanted to go through the Halo universe from start to finish. I did this once in 2004 before Halo 2 (not enough media to warrant a spreadsheet then!), and again in 2007 before Halo 3, and now I want to do it again this winter as it's probably the last time I'll have enough spare time to do so.

Couple of things like Pariah and Human Weakness from Evolutions aren't in there because they're hard to tie down to a certain period (they span years and weeks with no dates). I plan on keeping Halsey's Journal by my side throughout to read each entry in order with the rest of the timeline.

I'm looking for any suggestions you guys might have; do you think there's a better order to any of this? Or have I missed any story sources out?

Or even any stories or experiences from the previous times you guys have attempted something like this?
