Halo: Reach
Details:
Before the planet Reach was colonized by modern humanity, there was a disastrous event that left the remains of a Forerunner vessel strewn across the continent of Eposz. While it is unknown at what point in time this occurred, or how the vessel broke apart and crashed, what is known is that without the remains of this once great vessel, humanity may not have stood a fighting chance against the forces of the Covenant and later the Flood.
When Noble Team found the vessel in 2552, it had already been extensively researched and excavated by the Office of Naval Intelligence, with labs spread across the Viery Territory to examine each piece of the destroyed ship. While the artifact located under the Babd Catha Ice Shelf was ultimately destroyed to secure the escape of Dr. Halsey and a fragment of the AI Cortana, it is likely that many pieces of the ship yet survive.
Given the extent of the debris field shown in Halsey's map, one could assume that this vessel, in its original form, was quite massive. It's time to see what that original ship looked like!
Extra Credit:
Include a known Halo object (Forerunner or otherwise) as a scale reference.
