Honestly I'm ok with that. Those were basically only there for if you weren't patient enough to earn them on your own.

Like Gravemind mentioned though, just release paid bundles of new armor, emblems, weapon skins, etc every few months and weak willed content hogs like myself will lap it up. The maps need to be free. For H5 specifically, perhaps there can be campaign DLC or something like Spartan Ops that can also be monetized.
