Well, I did it all on classic graphics which helped the stuttering for me, wasn't too bad. It was designed with auto assist in mind, but it doesn't make the game impossible without, clearly.. had to let a lot of enemies run into the reticle, thankfully the flood run in a straight line... it was just a lot like real life!*

*Well, if real life had giant squid aliens and hula-hoop death machines.
