: It's really incredible how far Bungie has come. I started in december of 1994
: with Marathon, and 20 years later I'm still playing their games.

: The fact that they started so small and now are still a major influence in
: gaming is a testament to their ability. Nobody's perfect though, and all
: the complaining is just done because we care. Even though Destiny is going
: to be huge, folks are disappointed because they were expecting huger.
: That's only because Bungie's been mostly excellent.

: It also says something that despite my complaints, they realize I'm a fan
: first and foremost. I'm pretty thankful for F&F early access to the Halo 3
: and Reach Betas, and the Destiny Alpha. Helping track down a Bug in
: Destiny and corresponding with their team was pretty satisfying, as is
: knowing they actually read some of what I write on here and DBO.

: There's not much constant in my life. Other than family and my best friend,
: the only other thing really that has stuck with me are Bungie's games. My
: tastes and attitudes have changed considerably throughout my life, and
: certainly even just during the time I've spent posting here.

: Yet somehow, here I am ready for the midnight launch of Destiny… Is it
: perfect? Not even close. But it's good enough that I can still call myself
: a Bungie fan…

Yeah, it is amazing. I've been on this ride for 20 years, too.
