I know there was a few pieces that seemed placed deliberately. The little news clip of Miranda's promotion to commander and receiving the Silver Star was one of them I believe.

But yeah, you're asking for a bunch of stuff to fall out or get smashed if you let them chill in the pages like that. The sleeve at the back of the journal fits them all, if just a bit snugly. Don't bother putting the map and patch in there. I put the map at the end of the book outside the sleeve and the patch in the black packaging.
