: Customs Night is a weekly event held in Halo by Community Customs where
: everyone present plays custom and standard gametypes on custom maps (and
: occasionally a standard map or two), ranging from new to old, simple to
: complex, and competitive to silly. We do this every Friday at 9:00 PM US
: Eastern time , and play until everyone running it and most or all of the
: other people playing don't want to play any more. If this sounds like fun,
: why not join us? You can do that by simply replying to this post with your
: gamertag. If you do that, you'll get a message when we're getting started.

: Things to keep in mind:

: - we mostly play whatever the people present want to play
: - we don't run modded content because of present and future risks of bans
: - we like variety-- we try to continually change things up as far as specific
: maps and gametypes, general categories of maps and gametypes, and who made
: the maps and gametypes
: - a CC admin (including but not limited to ShadowoftheVoid, iHyokin, and Gnrl
: Vagueness) will have party lead at all times, to provide control,
: moderation, consistency, and fairness
: - if you want to play something we don't have, you'll have to tell us
: beforehand, either here or in the lobby, and either have it in your file
: share or tell us the gamertag of someone who has it in their file share
: (and if you say something in advance, we'd be fine looking for it
: ourselves)
: - we value communication, it makes the experience better and makes this whole
: thing possible, so please, talk, but don't talk over anyone, OK?
: - we play a lot of stuff on Forge Island, so if you don't have that yet, you
: should go get it-- it's free and you can find it in the marketplace list
: put up by the last item in the main menu of the game
: - suggested supplies: maps, gametypes, snacks, friends, jokes, stories, ammo

Pretty much what we at 2old2play do every Tuesday and Thursday night. Been doing it for just about 9 years continuously.

I sure am hoping 343i gives us some new Halo good enough to get us over the 10 year hump. :)

This would be a great opportunity for Frankie to drop by for a cameo and leave us some exciting news to get our Halo engines fired up. Anytime Frankie ..... :)
