Customs Night (cracked dawn edition [Halo 4])
By:General Vagueness
Date: 5/7/14 6:15 pm

Customs Night is coming again and there is nothing you can do to stop it. That's not a bad thing though. Customs Night, for the unaware, is a get-together in Halo hosted by Community Customs where we (everyone present) play custom games. We play custom and standard gametypes on custom maps (and occasionally a standard map or two), ranging from large to small, from strikingly simple to intricately complicated, from old to new, and from cutthroat competitive to simply silly. This all begins every Friday at 9:00 PM US Eastern time, and continues until everyone involved is sick of it. If this sounds fun to you, you should join us. You can do that by replying to this post with your gamertag.

Things to keep in mind:

- we mostly play whatever the people present want to play
- we don't run modded content because of current and potential risks of people getting banned
- we try to mix up what we play-- to have things by different people, with different gametypes, from one game to the next
- one of us (a Community Customs admin, including but not limited to ShadowoftheVoid, Gnrl Vagueness, and iHyokin) will have party lead all night, so...
- if you have something you want to play that we don't already have, you should tell us about it ahead of time or put it in your file share and tell us when you want to play it (or ahead of time)
- we value communication-- it's vital to good testing of maps and gametypes, and it's vital to us running this-- so we ask that you talk but not talk over people or talk down to people
- new maps are welcome, but not required
- also welcome: friends, snacks, jokes, conversation
- once again, the time is 9:00 EST and the game is Halo 4-- I hope we see you then!
