To mark Bad Cyborg's tenth anniversary this April, I attempted something ambitiious which I originally tried a few years ago then put aside after considerable frustration, unsure if it was viable. Namely, using a Banshee to lift a crazy-firing Grunt up the AOTCR tower - a rather tricky business. This time around I honed my technique, and a carefully engineered checkpoint part way through the lift was a big help.

I present the result in two parts, which double as tutorials and as reportage of my actual play. BCM103 comprises a teaser segment and the ascent prep, then BCM104 covers the ascent. I'll be posting an article later too, but in the meanwhile there's some info in my written movie commentaries if you're interested.

Incidentally, that Grunt has actually been on that tower before, in an old video called 'Herbie Does Halo' by Juggertrout and BigGruntyThirst. But with that method (launching the Shade to the top and letting the Grunt spawn in it) the Grunt is inactive. If you want him needling, you'll have to take him up personally!
