Getting so much face time with the Covenant was fascinating. I probably wet myself when Guilty Spark showed up, and certainly did when the Chief was grabbed by an unknown tentacle-creature ....the reveal of the Gravemind was spectacular (although originally I didn't realize he was the Flood -- I thought he was just some big plant dude--doy).

I've probably spent more time playing Halo 2 multiplayer than any other Halo since (having previously played only a miniscule amount of CE, and since then never consistently maintaining an XBL account).

The Warthog getting a horn has been the best thing to be added to Halo ever.
I honked everywhere.

Headlong, Zanzibar, and Ascension were fantastic; I of course loved having a new Blood Gulch in the form of Coagulation (and seeing it in Red vs Blue!). I really liked the DLC maps too. Playing with the doors on Turf and the gates on Coagulation, luring people onto the tracks on Terminal...simple pleasures! (OK, I probably never lured anyone into a high-speed train death...but I still loved that train).

Beating the stuffing out of Regret. Space-walking on Cairo Station. Funny dialogue from Grunts and Elites, especially when I played as the Arbiter; Well I, I...I think you're cute too, Arbiter...

Damn. I thought I had played it too many times already...but there is probably no such thing.
I am really excited by the prospect of H2A, or at least playing the original through again.
