: So I've been engaging in several shenanigans with home brewing and have come
: to a point in time where I'd like to brew a beer to tribute Trocadero's
: "A Girl Named Tex". After a great success with my
: "Wilmington Way" Honeydew American Wheat, I'll be brewing an
: Apple cinnamon Rye Pale Ale. I'm still figuring out the hops I'd like to
: throw in, but so far, I think it'll be something different yet familiar
: considering how many rye ales the local Terrapin Brewery puts out. So ya,
: I'll keep HBO updated (with photos!) once I get my order in from Northern
: Brewer and we shall see how that comes out in a couple of months.

: So far, I am currently enjoying my "Wilmington Way" Honeydew
: American Wheat and still brewing my "Downtown Discussion" Papaya
: Berliner Weiss - an initial Lactobacillus only Berliner Weiss that later
: received an additional pitching of Lactobacillus and Saccro yeast and
: papayas from several homegrown papaya trees (which have sadly died from
: the polar vortex that hit North America in early January).

: Out of curiosity, who else homebrews and if so, what have you done?
