Really hadn't thought of Everest. I keep thinking that she perished at Psi Serpentis as everyone was led to believe, without considering of proven theories. The likelihood of Fleet Admiral Cole and Lord Hood knowing each other is much greater in comparison to Cutter and Hood. Cole's return to the universe would definitely lead to some exciting drama in the context of Surgeon's report.

As for Bellicose, I don't think she would fit the bill. Granted her exploits under the command of Captain Castilla were "legendary" in their own right, and would certainly lead UNSC sailors to tell fabled stories of her operations against the colonial forces. However, while she was originally commissioned into the UNSC Navy, Bellicose is in service with Castilla's rebel fleet.
