I really think this is to be expected. Can you imagine how stressful it must be to work with a new team, even with their Halo 4 experience, on a new Halo title? Halo isn't a small game -- it carries a lot of weight, and mistakes can cost franchise reputation, as Halo 4 has shown.
With as stressful as an environment it must be, it doesn't surprise me to see people leave. Stress isn't always the cause of leaving a job, but I'm sure the demand of time and quality of work is making an impact of some significance.
Do I think this is good or bad? As long as 343 can be organized and smart when it comes to replacing people, then I feel a good thing. A good thing because those shoes will be filled in with more capable individuals. Individuals who know what the hot seat is like, since it's been filled before, and actually want a part of it.
I am VERY excited to see what Sparth brings to the table.
