I didn't have that specific problem, but I did have the game crash-to-dashboard elsewhere.

I enjoyed it, but I can't recommend the game at the $15 price tag. Even $10 feels steep. The free-to-play-esque trappings, such as buying one-time-use loadout enhancements, is not something I'm a fan of. The main campaign also seems to be solo only, which is a shame and limits how much I want to replay it.

That said, it's neat and pulls off the Halo feel well. It's got weapon swapping, melees, grenades, turrets, vehicle boarding, armor abilities, recharging shields, and a variety of enemy types, all used to great effect. The developers on this game "get" Halo. Delightfully, there's lots of content from previous games. As a huge Halo Wars fan, I love seeing wolverines, grizzlies, and more. On the covenant side, it's great to fight brutes and drones again after Halo 4.

In general, it's nice to see non-FPS Halo games. I'd be up for a Spartan Assault 2.
