If you mean fan-made, perhaps. It never had a formal name until Spirit came out in Ghosts of Onyx I think and then Halo Wars, then Reach.

In Halo 1, it was called the "tuning fork" in the game files. And even in Reach's game files, it's still called "tuning fork" even though it had a name by then. Since Halo 2, the game files for the Phantom were "phantom".

Something I just saw the other night though is the Reach animal Guta is just called "mule" in the game files.
