Wow, this is awesome! SquahThief is really digging deep! Those little secrets and easter eggs are what made the Halo games so replayable. I completely missed the Halo CE music Easter egg in H3.

Yesterday I was playing on the Sierra 117 map and I saw those birds flying near the first Brute you encounter. I've seen them so many times that I ignore them. I played the map five times and I remember seeing the birds each time. I still got killed several times but it was fun. I guess I've gotten old and rusty!

Negative - MCC will be good enough for our needs. I don't own an original Xbox anymore, but I do still have my original Halo: CE disc (for sentimental value).

Today marks the 23rd anniversary of Brian's passing, if I've counted the years right. It's funny for me to write this since I joined HBO after Brian passed away, and most of what I know about how much he meant to this community comes well after that. And it was last year's news post that taught me that the unforgettable line "The Autumn, she's been hit!" was his voice.

To be brutally honest, I have no idea how I would've gotten along with Brian, Jamir, or the rest of his Wolfpack back in the day since I'm several years younger and would've been in a very different world during the years both of us were alive. However, Brian did help me from beyond the grave. I never was taught HTML in school and Brian became my first HTML teacher because of his guide, which is still up on the site at present. I guess he's still helping others curious to know about the basics of HTML formatting, even if few folks need to use it now.

From the land of the living to whatever lies beyond - thank you, Brian.

Maybe have a parent or guardian look at the disc case before you pop that bad boy into the console. Wouldn't want any nightmares... or salty calls to Electronics Boutique/EB Games.

I like to torture the enemies as well. I was playing Halo 3 campaign on legendary a few days ago and got my butt kicked. I was a little rusty I guess. The enemies got their revenge on me :)
