Uh, hi.

It's been a while! Hope you're all doing well. Something came up today where I wanted to reference a particular halo comic strip but I couldn't find it for the life of me. I know one of you will have the answer...

It showed some Bungie employees in a conference room talking about how the "giving the covenant back their bomb" cutscene in Halo 2 would play out. Marty wanted a 20-second blackscreen or something like that. I don't think it was AHCS or One One Se7en but I could be wrong. In my cloudy memory it was a simple art style with heavy black lines like Stuntmutt or maybe even Frankie, or Penny Arcade.

Can anyone find it?

Getting to the bottom of the main shaft is one thing, but doing it in under twenty seconds? That takes a bit more effort! See my sixth instalment BCM535, for increasingly speedy descents.

I could get the front of the Warthog through the opening but it wouldn't power all the way through. I used a second Warthog to shove the first one through the opening. Checkpoints are a problem with the original PC version but somehow a checkpoint triggered just after shoving the first Warthog through. The good thing about the PC version is I can save any checkpoint and replay it anytime I want. I'll revisit this again after the holidays.

That's what I used to do, but as you probably saw in my set-up demo (BCM530), you can actually squeeze through at speed. You had trouble with that?

Good job getting to the bottom. You have more patience then I do :)

I tried doing this for about three hours. I managed to get about half way down until I remembered to pick up an overshield, somehow I forgot that! I had to use a second Warthog to push the first one through the opening. I did this on Legendary and with Sgt. Johnson in the passenger seat. And I used the original Halo PC version. I never did get to the bottom this time, but I'm going to try again later and see how it goes.
