Concerning the marketing tie-ins:
I, too, would bank on the action figure direction; that would be WAY too cool! I found myself struggling to not fork out $40-$50 (however much it was) on Ghost in the Shell action figures. I would be helpless to resist Oni action figures.

Bungie is too much of a class act to go after some low-quality, cheap-thrill approach like a model (not that I'd object, certainly) or a movie. Hopefully Take 2 would honor Bungie's unique, genre-bending approach to gaming that has put their games head and shoulders above their peers.

On second thought, based on Bungie's terrific history with engaging, dynamic story lines, perhaps a movie (hopefully animated) or comic book of some kind would give the Bungie empire the recognition it deserves.

Chicago is a much lonelier place without you, Bungie...
