1. Stop bitching about release dates. Would you rather have them release an unfinished, untested piece of crap or a complete game that has been thoroughly worked on? You must not know how things work in the gaming industry. Starcraft was an amazing game. Many people thought it was ground breaking and as far as I know, it's one of the longest running RTS games that still has a giant player base.

2. The PS2 DOES have hardware problems. Ever heard of anti-aliasing? It's what smooths out the pixels on polygons so the edges don't look jagged. Dreamcast uses it. Hell, even N64 used it. This can be a big problem for developers looking to make their games graphically impressive. Also, many PS2 developers have stated issues with difficulty of developing for the console.

3. Reports from a recent gaming expo (I don't remember the name. It was called something like GDC) state that Tekken Tag runs poorly. While still images of the game may impress, it's been said the actual game is choppy and not all that impressive. One person even went as far as to ask if they were running Tekken 3 on the PS2.
