minor questions as to the 9/06 Orb Arm postings

Just a few minor questions as to some of the updated 9/06 Orbital Arm postings, which by the way are fantastic...I can't even get to any newer games, as there are too many good 'ol Marathons to replay for new features!
The questions are:
1.I see Orbital Arm posts Total Texture Enhancements # 6.0...I have a 6.1 archived...its about 20-25 meg larger,by the way.
Any reason NOt to use 6.1,or for that matter, for Orbital Arm to just post the latest,6.1..?
2.I also see Orbital Arm posts Landscape enhancement as 1.0 (the oldest),but to get the latest,1.2,one has to download each sepaqrte Marathon -specific texture package, rather than just the total textures..any reason for that..?
3.Moreover,the needed scripts for Landscapes ARE missing in the embeded 1.2 version.
The scripts ARE in the older 1.0 landscape package, but not in the 1.2 Landscapes that can only be gotten with the separate Mara version-specific textures.
All this meaqs that if one wants the latest of everything, you need to download total texute 6.0,each of the 3 specific Mara-specific textures,+ the older 1.0 Landscapes,& then self copy the scripts...any reason for this?
4.I noted that most folks who have total conversions,if the sdl.dll is included, use the very old 1.27 sdl.
Sdl has gone thru many, many updates since then.
Any reason folks don't include the latest sdl.dll?
Any reason not to update ourselves..?
5.Any reason, once Aleph SDL is updated (2 updates in Dec 06 alone!) not to separately update every single Aleph one game we have, including all our tc's (like Rubicon & Tempus) with the latest Alephs,& sdl..?
6.Lastly,I was blown away with the latest Marathon 2 SE upload..I only stared the first level ,but to simlutaneoulsy here muzak & ambient sounds was WONDERFUL!
My question....any predictions as to when Mara-Infinity SE will be avaialbe for the same ?
Whew! Lotsa questions, but I've been saving them up.
