It turns out my archive wasn't incomplete, I just forgot to look in the second segment of it. Feh. Anyway, here's more from the archives regarding the true identities of the Fallen.

In Myth II, the
: Thrall flavor texts speak of Bahl'al marching his
: armies on Tyr and Covenant, both cities which The
: Watcher leveled during the Great War (though Tyr was
: again razed by The Deceiver, and Covenant was again
: razed by Soulblighter, they were both initially
: destroyed by The Watcher).
I think you are mistaken about who razed Covenant. I think, although I have
not read from the original journal in a while, that it listed Soulblighter as
the one who razed Covenant. If I remember correctly this is what he said. "...
a tunnal that the royle famly used to escape when Soulblighter leavaled the
city 12 years ago" Again I dont remember every entry very well anymore so it
would be prudent to check.
Thats all,

: Whatever happened to the fifth? We've only met four;
: Soulblighter (Damas, Twice Born), The Watcher
: (Bahl'al, Mad Goat of the Fens), Shiver (Ravanna, The
: Voiceless One), and The Deceiver (Myrdred, Source of
: the Five Hundred Poisons). The other two are
: Bonesplitter and The Faceless Man, the details of
: which are unknown.
Now I'm not a Myth history expert but I have a question on the name Bone
Splitter. I'm almost sure of having seen that name on the flavor text part on
a myrmidon. You know, where his name is. Their names are usually like Skull
Crusher or Throat Cutter. Another thing is, at least from what other people
have said, how do you know that The Watcher is Bahl'al? Just 'cause he has the
most Thrall and shades doesn't mean he IS Bal'hal. And what about Shiver? I
always thought that The Voiceless One was a totally different Fallen Lord. I
don't think I know near as much as you do about Myth, but i'm basing my
information and doubts from what other people think.

Alright, fromt he Cook series of books "The Black Comapany" there is one
female sorceress. Her name is Whisper. We know that bungie used many fot eh
names from this book series etc, or at least transformations of these names.
The Voiceless One is an example of one of these transformations. Since Whisper
infers a quiet voice it can be associated with someone without a voice, the
Voiceless One. Also since Whisper was the only female sorceress in the book
series this would associate to the only female Fallen Lord, Shiver. So if this
isn't proff enough I don't know what it wil take to convince you.
Sincerely,
Pimpy™

What are you talking about? Many of The Ten Who Were Taken were women and all
of The Ten Who Were Taken are sorcerers. Soulcatcher, Stormbringer, and some
others i can't remeber. If you recall The Black Company capturing those two
generals for The Rebel that were married, obviously one of them was a chick.
Since throughout the book The Rebel went throughout like 26 members of The
Circle (the basis for The Nine) a lot of them were women.
And besides, many times Croaker states even though that The Taken were
partially made up of women it didn't matter. Regardless though The Black
Company is a damn awsome series, i love it so much more than the Dragonlance
set from TSR.
You know who really scares me though is the Dominator. If he can do all that
crap from his grave just think what he can do when he is out and running
around.

ps. I am only halfway through Shadows Linger so my knowledge is somewhat
limited. :) Oh and Silent is the man...

: Not quite. Balor isn't a Fallen Lord, he's their leader.
: And the Summoner wasn't born 60 years ago in Myth I
: (he's the "man not yet born" who ressurects
: the Myrkridia), and there were six Fallen at that
: time. For the record, the six fallen are, in
: "Surname (Real Name)" format: Soulblighter
: (Damas)
: The Deceiver (?)
: The Watcher (Bahl'al)
: The Voiceless One? (Shiver)
: The Faceless Man (?)
: Bonesplitter? (Bonesplitter?)
: Not sure whether Bonesplitter is a real name or a
: surname. If it's a surname, it may be Shiver's surname
: (we know she's not Soulblighter or The Deceiver, she's
: female so she's not The Faceless Man, The Watcher is
: Bahl'al, so she's either Bonesplitter or The Voiceless
: One; I bet the latter).
Actually, Balor is considered to be Bahl'al but whether or not that is a true
alias is not known. The Watcher is "The Mad Goat of the Fens" The Summoner bit
makes sense, but i have never heard of some of the others. Such as The
Voiceless One and the Faceless Man.
And I would consider Balor a fallen lord anyway. He once was good and is now
evil, that kinda puts him in the "fallen" catagory.
-Arc
p.s. I am reading "The Black Company" by Glen Cook, which is the book that
Myth is partially based off of. And i can say that it is totally awsome. I can
see the relations between the game and the book but The Black Company is damn
cool. I can easily see why Bungie used this book to base some of the game off
it.

MESSAGE: (#337) The Whole Watcher Shbang

okay y'all,
I've been reading A LOT of this stuff about the watcher and Bah'al (i'm almost
certain that i spelled this wrong) and one peice of evidence that many people
tend to use is the bungie PRE RELEASE info about balor and the fallen lords
and how bah'al is clearly not balor because there names both in the parragraph
in different conentations. if you've read any of the other posts you see this
piece of evidence used soon enough.
so many people base their arugement on this forgeting that it is PRE RELEASE.
a whole lot of things change between prerelease and real game. the name of
Balor EASILY could have change. all the other real evidence points to bah'al
being Balor, like him searching for the dream of unlife in the thrall text and
mazarrian knowing the end of his days when he saw him (in some other unit
text) there is some other evidencebut i don't remember it.
that's all i have to say. please feel free to prove me wrong.
sincerely,
Dangerboy ~JK~

There you go. I think think The Watcher is Bahl'al and Shiver is The Voiceless One (and Soulblighter is the second gunman who REALLY shot JFK...), but think what you want. :)
