: What I'd like to see would be the climax of the Battle of
: the Red Seal. You'd need more unit types for both Trow
: and Oghre, of course.
: The map would have to be the same as the "Great
: Devoid" map, since the Red Seal was raised after
: the batle with the Calliach there. That's fine,
: because it gives the Oghre plenty of good defensive
: positions.
: Unit suggestions: Oghre.
: Trow Iron Warrior flavour text suggests that Oghre used
: throwing spears in defence of their forts. Hence,
: Hearthguard style unit.
: Most of the Oghre you see are rebelling slaves rather
: than true warriors. I'd imagine they'd have some kind
: of elite warrior group, perhaps with Maul-style
: scavenged armour and battleaxes. They'd probably be
: slower than regular Oghres, but tougher, and with a
: stronger attack.
: And, of course, you have the few Oghre with skill in
: magic. If Moghbragga is anything to go by, these would
: probably be rather more skilled in combat than your
: average mage.
: Unit Suggestions: Trow
: Principes: armoured warriors with greatswords ala Tales
: from TFL. Probably a little faster than Iron Warriors,
: but their greatswords would have less pure smashing
: power than the warhammers.
: Velites: lightly armoured Trow equipped with javelins
: (thrown with ballista-like force, of course). After
: all, an unarmoured Trow is pretty fast, so it would
: only make sense that they'd have had some kind of
: "light" infantry to do hit-and run before
: the shock troops smash into them.
Wow! OMG! I've wanted to do this for ages now and i even made the colour map for it (well, editted the Devoid map). I'd love to team up with anyone who might be interested in taking this further.
