Shiver, though, may have been the only option available. The Watcher, for instance, was genuinely killed--petrified and hacked to pieces--whereas Shiver was merely floating around as a disembodied spirit after Rabican "peeled her body and pierced her soul." She was likely the only Fallen Lord recoverable with Tramist's Mirror.
