: Yeah, that's what I'd assumed. Since they can't cross
: running water (which is a trait usually associated
: with vampires-undead), that would further my cause. I
: can't imagine a natural and living creature being
: unable to cross it. I mean, gorillas can't swim, but
: they can cross it. Or so I'd assume.
Gorillas can swim, actually, though they don't seem to much and (like humans) they suck without practice. Most apes have trouble swimming because they have less fat than us, but they can manage if they have to.
Just sayin'. :-) But yeah, the crossing-running-water thing is pretty signature undead.
: Yeah, I could agree with that. I like how they limited
: power against larger and more powerful creatures by
: saying they had stronger will until injured. Otherwise
: we'd get the stupid 'why didn't Myrdred bind SB??'
: questions.
True...every power has a limit in Myth. Even Balor couldn't bind the Fallen Lords perfectly.
: Yeah, I was certain that Balor's destruction would have
: been common knowledge even without any link. Returning
: armies, lack of commands, and the like. I guess,
: looking at the facts, Myrdred would have very little
: knowledge of SB's return. I mean, you dig him up and
: he's pretty disoriented.
I have no opinion, personally. Maybe he knew, maybe he didn't. :-) He snapped back to consciousness to teleport you away impressively fast, so maybe he was down there doing nothing but mind-scans for the last sixty years. Or not. Regardless, he must have known five minutes later...
