[conjecture about Tramist's Mirror - good stuff]
: Also, Balor can obviously not be brought back through the
: Mirror, since technically, he is still alive. As they
: said in Myth TFL, Balor can not be destroyed, by
: throwing his Head into the great devoid they have
: ensured that he will be falling endlessly and
: therefore be unable to return.
Alric and the rest of the Nine had some serious misconceptions about the Fallen, remember. They thought that once Balor was killed the rest of the Fallen would lose all their powers, but they obviously didn't. Alric says that Balor has been killed before, but I believe he is reffering to the Leveller spirit, not this incarnation as Balor. On second thought, maybe he's not; maybe he thinks that by not killing Balor but just dropping him down an endless hole, he won't be reincarnated again. However, the Leveller spirit could always just leave the now basically dead Balor, to return a thousand years later. I mean, why didn't it stick around when previous incarnations were beheaded, etc? Because it's powerless then. So Balor is basically dead now, but the Leveller may not be.
: Milk Man's Questions: 1) "Source of a Hundred
: Poisens" why does the deciever have this instead
: of his true name?
He does, "Myrdred". Each Fallen has three names, a true name, a surname, and a title.
Damas (Soulblighter), Twice Born
Bahl'al (The Watcher), Mad Goat of the Fens
Ravanna (Shiver), The Voiceless One
Myrdred (The Deceiver), Source of the Five Hundred Poisons
: 2) If the Watcher was so powerful,
: why not resurect him instead of Shiver?
Good question. Maybe "the ether" is like purgatory, a transient afterlife, where Shiver ended up floating, while The Watcher went straight to whatever the Myth-world Hell is.
: 3) Is
: Soulblighter dead or just forever trapped in lava?
I think he's dead, a crow-spirits went flying out of his burning body in that final cutscene. Although his heart is still hidden away in his temple somewhere, so he may not be dead, just bodyles.
: 4)
: If somone found that temple with all the artifacts,
: wouldnt he/she gain an incredible ammount of dark
: powers?
Most likely, yes.
