The Deceiver and Balor

I imagine The Deceiver controlled Balor. The reason that The Watcher wasn't mind controlled was that The Watcher is a wizard, and so he used anti-magic shields. That is why The Deceiver could get away with fighting the other fallen, but he did not want to cause the other fallen lords to attack Balor (their combined force would defeat him). That is why The Deceiver could get away with loosing Alric and having his army whomped on by The Watcher and so many other people. This would also give him a great deal of power, giving him motive. The ability to control the leveller would make him an unstoppable force. Perhaps The Deceiver IS also the head. People say Balor's head is the head while some say its Sorgoth, but if The Deceivers head survived, it could have mind controlled the next leveller and used magic to teleport himself back in time to defeat himself to stop him from causing a reign of terror upon the planet, yet he also holds no liking for Alric, who let him die. This is one of my two theories, the other being the deceiver's mind controlling theory.
