Stupid question about the head

No brilliant theories here, but when GURPS said that stuff about Segoth, Wyrds son, weren't they basically saying "Yes that is the Head, so no more theories!" or was that just some lame attempt at tying up a loose end real quick. I mean they basically spell it out when they say his head was cut off and made to stay alive and speak. To top it off they put down those snazzy "..." at the end or is there just another disembodied head out there that has the ability to speak. If thats the case, then I want one! :)
