Warrior Captain

I just want to know playing TFL or Soulblighter.Is a Warrior Captain better than a common warrior?I mean is he faster/quiker or has more hit points?
We can see Warrior Captain's in Flight from Covenant & Across the Gjol(Tfl)and in Gonen's Bridge(Myth II)

Otherwise what's the meaning of their apearance?
