Myth II possibilities

Story Stuff:
Perhaps we'll control Damas as he rounds up the artifacts.

Maybe we'll find out who the hooded guy from Tales is.

Mazzarin is already dead (unless he died at the very end of the Wind Age). Maybe Myth IV can be even earlier.

We can finally find out about that Leveller that Connacht killed. (Moagim Reborn) He'll likely use a kind of units we haven't seen before.

Trow with weapons. These will be the new Myrk Giants in net games. They better cost 40 points or something.

Fir'bolg and humans were likely enemies back then.

Myrdred may be young and handsome.

We'll likely run into the Watcher at some point.

No Legion. Just a bunch of rag-tag warriors, and the Heron and Imperial guards.

The Voiceless One may be around, though not as Shiver.

Likely no undead at all.

MB Skrael MB?

Ghols are still Trow's cronies.

Engine Stuff:
Hopefully there will be a lot more variation in unit appearances than the first few games. Using skinning and a no-draw option, things like facial hair and the details of armor could change pretty easily. While it would be more trouble, I'd like to see more women around as well.

Ability to change the camera angle?

Ability to make different creatures bleed different colors.

Better documented editing tools. I'd rather have the game come with scripting instructions than have to figure it out myself or wait for somebody like Ares to.

Console versions. While it would be hard to get around
the fact that Myth really needs a mouse, and the Xbox and Gamecube won't have them, it may be worthwhile.

Something a lot like bungie.net.

Better line-of-sight. This should be an option in net games.

Better personal space handling. IE, no clumping, but still let units squeeze through a tight formation.

Better load times. Perhaps if a saved game were both a game-state, and a list of actions, you could have good load times and still make films. Myth 2's were sometimes upwards of five minutes on big levels.

Better handling of bridges.
