Simple one first. In Myth:TFL why did Soulblighter's army leave right when/after Alric's army killed the Watcher? If soublighter continued shadowing Alric's army he would have "eventually" caught up with him and killed him.
Now I know that in the level Across the Gjol that much of Soulblighter's army was decimated by ambushers of the legion... but that couldn't have been his WHOLE army. So basically Soublighter vanished when he could have continued chasing the legion and possibly save Balor. I mean what was he doing at the Great Devoid? Did he know in advance that Balor's head was going to be cut off no matter what, so he went and "camped" (sorry for the vocab here, I've been meeting too many of these campers in Counter-strike) near the great devoid, awaiting those thirty or more men from the last remaining group of the legion?
(note I thought this would be easy cause I'm sure there is some fact I overlooked that would have given me a quick answer)
2nd... I'm a bit confused. What is the leveler's purpose? There are those who say he destroys the balance of the world in golden ages, and there are those who say he balances the world by killing overpopulated people who are flourishing too much in golden ages. Which one is it? (or if neither one.. what is his purpose?)
Also, in the epilogue to Myth II it says that the balance is more of a "wave" type thing, where in one era it is a golden age, and another it is a dark age. The leveller is simply the ruler of the dark age.
These 3 things make things very difficult :/
