The Road North

In the Journal section of this site, in the part on The Road North, it suggests that the reason why the thrall disappear is because they are being buried. I have a different theory. Watch the film again. Listen for the thunder. Each time the screen goes black, there is thunder. Each time the screen goes black, there is one less thrall. Why does the Ghol suddenly look round with a growl? It's the bow of furious incandescence! (yes, I know that realistically, one blast would kill all the thrall, but that would be no fun.)
