Yet another non-death theory

I know you guys are probably fed to the back teeth with theories that can be summed up as ''(insert name of random person here) is not really dead!'', but hear me out. I've noticed that Soulblighter has a number of vampire-like attributes, namely his inhuman speed and strength, his immortality, his being classed as undead for most purposes, and his ability to shapechange. Anyway, according to Vampire lore, a Vampire can only be truly destroyed if its heart is destoyed, which is why the stake through the heart is so important (although decapitation, burning the body and leaving garlic, wild roses and religious symbols with what's left of the body are supposed to help. The stake itself really ought to be hawthorn, don't ask me why). Soulblighter's heart wasn't destroyed. Soulblighter's heart is in the Untamed Lands. Soulblighter probably has lots of loyal servants who will be more than happy to get him a new body (Giant Myrkridia Soulblighter-ouch!). Rant over.
