Do Heron Guards/Journeymen Age?

I was just thinking, do heron guards ever get old, or do they stay the same "age" as they are when they're initiated into the guard? will a 200 year old heron look more youthful than an 800 year old one?

and on a similar note, are they truely immortal, or is there an eventual limit to their lifespan?
