Fir'Bolg and Others

I'm just bringing up the story with our archers in the Great War (TFL).While Fir'Bolg were enemies with the humans,both of them they realised that only together they could do something,against the Fallen Lords.
But now in MYTH2 they are gone.Does it make sense?
This time Soulblighter went too far,even with his armies of the dark he took Tandem and reach the north borders.So as you see the threat was really too big.Where were the Fir' Bolg?I can't accept that because we have bowmen,Fir'Bolg wasen't needed.Besides they must be in danger also.
King Alric knew that a regiment with bowmen & Fir'Bolg would be powerfull,but we never saw it.Why Fir'Bolg didn't take part in this war?

Just remember that in Chimera they fight against the swarm.
