Myth isn't a medival society.

Myth looks just like any other medival society on the surface, but it isn't.
There are several differences.
Myth society ( before the great wars) was ruled by the emperor, he was the leader of the entire
human world east of the cloudspines, he also proerly claimed to be the rigthfull ruler of the west or
at least the south west.
The emperor in Myth is a very strong ruler, The Cath Bruig was properply a terrible centralized
country with all power concentrated in Muirthmne.

The Army was under complet imperial authority( unlike mediaval europe, were the kings would have
to rent soldiers everytime they went to war)
The nobels had a minnimum of power, they weren't allowed to have slaves and the emperor
properply checked if anyone was living like slaves.

Also in Myth the cities a very very very big, especially in the west were the cities because a past as
city states was equally important, in the east the power was more centralized but still Myth is very
urbanized.

A very signifcant difference between the Myth and the real world is that Myth armies dosn't fight
medival stylewith alot of horses, and badly equiped footmen, The myth army are fighting in heavily diciplined formation, more like a roman style, Actuely the whole society seems like a roman style society, with great cities and such.
they have just putted a medival skin over it.
I know that Gurps claims that Alric dosn't like horses because h was some leveller before. But as some of you may have noticed i am not so naive that i support every dum thing that Gurps claims.
I haven't seen one evidence that horses have ever been used in myth, have you.

The only horses i have seen ithe one dragging the wagons with dead people to Keep kildaer, and they are working horses not fighting and riding horses.
And if you then look at roman society then you would see that they didn't use horses very much and the cavalery they had was not high quality.
I think that if there is horses in myth they are propeply something that only babarians and people from Gower would use, while the "civilized countries wouldn't use that kind of babarius weapons"
Thats all for new
