Hello, crazy-house!
I was going to post this to a Myth plugin/scenario news forum, but I'm saving that for when my project is ready for more public scrutiny.
I'm making a rather large 15-20 level Myth II scenario. I'm trying to give it more of the feel of the good old Myth, and I'm bringing back a few old friends, the Forest Giants, the Myrmidons, and the fir'Bolg, plus I'm implementing the Skrael unit.
The scenario takes place a millenium after Myth TFL. The cycle of light has passed, and now the Leveler has once again returned in the form of the greatest hero of the previous age. Everyone was hoping that when Soulblighter tried to push the cycle it was broken, but this was plainly not the case. The Leveler has raised up four of the other great warriors/sorcerers of the age, and so there are four new Fallen Lords.
The reason that all you crazy Myth addicts are hearing of this before anyone else is because I want to hear your suggestions for a story for the scenario to follow. Right now I have enough to put together something like Myth II, because the plot is spread kinda thin. I really want to enrich it a bit, and make this something good, rather than something just mediocre like Myth II. I need suggestions for surprising twists, old forgotten tactics and secrets that see the light again, and for new places in the Myth world to travel to.
Remember, if you mention this on any other forum, the only response you'll get for awhile is "What?". It's nowhere near ready for the public eye yet.
