Fir'bolg origens

Has anyone thought about this? In the myth 2 manual it says that the Bre'unuar are aboriginal inhabitants of the Ermine. This would imply that the Fir'Bolg migrated to the forest from elsewhere. I think the were living on the plain of scails before humans started arriving from the east and were pushed off of the plain and took refuge in the forest. This would explain their inordinately long feud with all humans before the truce.
Any information, thoughts?
