'Tales From Myth TFL' Moagim, Head?

In 'Tales From Myth The Fallen Lords', when Shiver is fighting Rabican atop the Hill of Mourning, Rabican is thinking MOAGIM, VANITY, VANITY, WHISPER WEAKNESS.
There has been a lot of theories about why he says Moagim. We know that the Head told him off Shivers weakness. While under the influence of Shiver's spell he starts desperately trying to think how to 'kill' her. He suddenly remembers what the Head told him. The first thing he thinks is Moagim. Maybe he's thinking '..... OF COURSE! MOAGIM TOLD ME VANITY WAS HER WEAKNESS!', or something like that. That would mean that Rabican knew that the Head was Moagim.
A problem with the whole theory is that a journal entry says that '...the Nine found the severed Head of one of Balor's old enemies out in the desert....'. How could Moagim be one of Balor's enemies? The journal writer could be wrong, but anything anyone can think of would be much appreciated.
