Bizarre easter egg *spoiler*

On the very last part of the level where you're supposed to locate the Tain, there is a hill, just in the center of this is a shallow dip where the Tain Shard is located. If you center your camera on the glowing Shard, zoom out all the way, and rotate your camera, you can see a supposedly unimplimented Gryphon behind one of the trees on the very edge of the map.
