Myth Asylum HL Strategy WarGame

Yeah, Darksword and I have been discussing things on Asylum HL, and decided that we're gonna start making the Asylum Myth wargame. It will involve wars with light vs. dark, big troop movements and battles, strategy, and many other great things that are involved in a war game.

Since it's a turn based game, people will be able to play it while on ANHL without needing to be around the HL server at the same time. We'd just submit the troop movements and stuff, and it would work out after a while. People would just need to take their turns in order, and it would eventually work out.

So here are our ideas so far:
1) Light armies vs. Dark armies, with maybe some neutral forces like mercenaries/brigands or trow that can be hired by either side.
2) Units of troops will move over the Myth world on a map covered in hex units. Troop movements will be a big part of the game.
3) Each unit of troops will need a leader of some sort. Thrall and myrkridia especially need a leader. The Leader of each unit will provide the troops morale, as well as being a hero in the battles themselves.
4) Each battle that a unit survives will give it experience, and the more experience a unit gains the better it will be at fighting. Certain troops like undead and myrks will learn slowly or not at all since they're stupid or non-intelligent.
5) Undead numbers can be replenished by killing enemy armies or destroying cities, while living numbers can be increased by visiting cities. Cities will not produce many new units very often because one turn is one day. This way, undead will have more troops, but humans will probably be more experienced.
6) The strategy and troop movements of the controlling player matter more in the battle than the actual troop strengths usually, so a smart player can actually defeat armies much larger than his own.

Other ideas will come along soon. Please add your own. As far as I know, Darksword and I will be working mostly on writing up the rules systems and everything, so get ready for some Myther Action!
