Notice to any mapmakers making entries for The Mill's contest. Very quietly the contest awards have changed. There IS a news post on The Mill, but you have to go to the Contest page to see what the awards are.
From looking at it, it appears as thought any Individual winner or runner up wins "Places of Esteem" on The Mill "PLUS" a Myth Handbook. Thats it. Also any group winner or runner up wins "The Same".
This is a Major change from what was announced merely days before the contest deadline & it mysteriously comes at a time when people/groups have already put their time into producing their projects.
If the prizes were not "secure" at the time of announcement I feel they should not have been promised (I know "prizes subject to change" tag covers your arese). Personally I do not care about the prizes, but this makes for a very Gray shadow over a contest which will bring the Mything community even More cool stuff.
Just a very dubious act. I think I can speak for Creation in saying that We would have produced an entry anyhow, but the change just seems to inflate any questions anyone ever had about the authenticity of the contest.
