Two loose ends...

For the most part, these two questions i have are unrelated.

First off, why the hell does it say Moagim in the middle of one of the frames of the "Ground Zero" comic? Am I nuts or isn't that the leveler that came before Balor, as mentioned in the epilogue? Why the hell was it there?

Second, If Alric is the hero who freed the land from wicked things, isn't he destined to be the next leveler? I'm puzzled a lot on that one. Since Connacht slew Moagim, the leveler before balor, whom he eventually becomes, wouldn't alric, having slain Balor, be doomed to the same plight? And if so, why the hell isn't anyone in the world of myth figuring this out? You'd figure there'd be some extremist heron guard faction that would want to kill Alric so he doesn't become the leveler.
