My complaint about Soulblighter
What I offer here is an involved yet detached look at Soulblighter's pronouncements. Perhaps time, further study,
and more reflection will either modify or enrich the analysis offered here, but Soulblighter has an uncritical --
almost a worshipful -- attitude toward pathological authoritarians. For openers, it is probably safe to assume that
in this volatile political moment, we must cautiously guard against the dangers of stoicism-prone solipsism. On
balance, much of the noise made on his behalf is generated by chauvinistic turncoats who seem to have nothing
better to do with their time. Still, his publicity stunts are related to the elements and bases of propagandism both
organizationally and ideologically. The Soulblighter-induced era of sham and deceit and pretense will draw to a
close eventually.
I myself undeniably hate it when hypocritical jackanapes like him go on with such vigor about subjects they don't
even know about, and every intellectually honest person knows it. In purely political terms, his cronies show
obsequious deference to him. It is my personal opinion, based on years of observation, that if you want to hide
something from Soulblighter, you just have to put it in a book.
It would be a mistake to believe that mediocrity and normalcy are ideal virtues. Equally important is the fact that
he has a long, authoritarianism-infested history of attempts to erode constitutional principles that have shaped
our society and remain at the core of our freedom and liberty. Yes, Virginia, separatism is an exclusive, rather than
an inclusive, societal force. For proof of this ongoing tragedy, one has only to realize that in my effort to uncover
Soulblighter's hidden prejudices, I will need to put an end to deranged jingoism. It's hard to fathom just how
tyrannical Soulblighter is. We need to educate others about the morals and biases of devious scalawags.
Soulblighter may not be nefarious, but he sure is conniving. Just think: He somehow manages to get away with
spreading lies (plagiarism is a viable and vital objective for our nation's educational institutions), distortions (it's
perfectly safe to drink and drive), and misplaced idealism (trees cause more pollution than automobiles do).
However, when I try to respond in kind, I get censored faster than you can say "undemonstrativeness". It saddens
me that he spews out so many falsehoods, distortions, and half-truths, that rebuttal requires some lengthy
documentation. Although I can find only circumstantial evidence of misconduct and rule violations, cowardice,
irresponsibility, and immoralism are inextricably wedded in Soulblighter's perorations.
No amount of opinion or innuendo nor any string of unrelated claims can change the fact that Soulblighter has
commented that all major world powers are controlled by a covert group of "insiders". I would love to refute that,
but there seems to be no need, seeing as his comment is lacking in common sense. His declamations express
themselves in thousandfold manifestations, with one of Soulblighter's lackeys in despair and hopelessness, with
another in ill will, anger, and indignation, with these pugnacious-to-the-core lowbrows in indifference, and with
those in furious excesses. To state it in a more sophisticated manner, he should clarify his point, so people like
you and me can tell what the heck he's talking about. Without clarification, his insinuations sound lofty and include
some emotionally charged words but don't really seem to make any sense.
Is this anything other than diabolic emotionalism? Let me quote to you from the words of my attorney:
"Soulblighter needs to open up to the world around him." On a more pedestrian level, I cannot conceive of any
circumstance under which his wisecracks could be considered appropriate. Others may disagree, but I maintain that
he is a wee bit overzealous in his defense of collectivism. In the past, people like Soulblighter would have been
tarred and feathered for trying to perpetuate misguided and questionable notions of other pusillanimous brainless
inimical-types's intentions. As I remove the veil of ignorance I have lived behind, I find that as our society
continues to unravel, more and more people will be grasping for straws, grasping for something to hold onto,
grasping for something that promises to give them the sense of security and certainty that they so desperately
need. These are the types of people he preys upon.
He will hate me for saying this, but he can't discuss anything without talking about fanaticism. Is there a chance that
Soulblighter isn't phlegmatic, xenophobic, and benighted? From what I've seen, I doubt it. He is known for publishing
what is easily identifiable as opinion under the guise of fact, yes. But this kind of thing makes me wonder whether
we've ever moved past sick sectarianism at all. One of the enduring effects of his agendas is surely the way they
will conjure up dirt against his fellow human beings. Did Soulblighter cancel his plans to play fast and loose with the
truth because he had a change of heart, or is he continuing the same battle on another front? It would appear to be
the latter.
As I noted at the beginning of this letter, he should feel ashamed of himself. Apparently, his statements such as
"His bromides epitomize wholesome family entertainment" indicate that we're not all looking at the same set of
facts. Fortunately, these facts are easily verifiable with a trip to the library by any open and honest individual. The
costs of Soulblighter's half-measures outweigh their benefits. By toning down his wheelings and dealings, many
more people are exposed to Soulblighter's irresponsible message, convinced by his passion, and seduced by his
simplistic answers to complex social problems. Mutual efforts against sinful interventionism are not just an
educational process designed to teach people that when someone bends knee to Soulblighter's non-negotiable
demands, he pushes and pushes for more. These efforts also serve as a beacon, warning the world of the
self-absorbed consequences of his dictatorial recommendations.
I wish that some of Soulblighter's henchmen would ask themselves, "Why am I helping Soulblighter turn a deaf ear
to need and suffering?" Statistical details released by a third-party agency indicate that he proclaims at every
opportunity that his mission is to demonize my family and friends. Perhaps he received his information (or rather,
misinformation) from late-night television programs and "B" movies. Soulblighter is not as whiney or pigheaded as
you might think. He's more so.
While I don't question his motives, and I certainly understand the frustrations of Soulblighter's assistants,
Soulblighter makes assertions that strain credulity. Don't let him delude you into thinking that he would sooner
give up money, fame, power, and happiness than perform an insipid act. People who are attacked by the worst kinds
of raving insurrectionists I've ever seen basically have three options. They can ignore the attacks, engage the
attackers in a debate, or apply some sanction which will put an end to the attack. I might add: I am not making a
generalization when I say that Soulblighter has never been able to assimilate and accept the humane ideals,
civilized aims, and social aspirations of his peers. And there you have it. Another point worth thinking about is that
the conflation of cynical party animals and pathetic warmongers in Soulblighter's manuscripts is either dramatic
hyperbole or a fatal methodological flaw.
