eRPG

It has been two weeks now since I have mailed someone an eRPG chapter, mostly because I have been weighed down with school work. It is also to do with the fact that I have considering how to keep continuity in the eRPG. What I mean is that if someone is in an inn and they go outside and then later come back in, I will need to describe the same building, otherwise I will look stupid! (and it would not be as realistic and fun for you.) It's possible for me to look back through previous mails and find the one where I first describe the place, but this takes too long.
Instead, I am going to write plans and descriptions of buildings/places/people etc. for each character so that I can keep the continuity. I hope to be able to do this today so we can start again next week.

There is also another thing that I was thinking about doing. There is a computer game for the PC called Asheron's Call, an online role-playing game. One thing that makes the game so good is that every month there is a world event. It gets announced on the official web site, so players know when it's going to happen. It sort of brings the players together and gets them talking about how they are going to deal with this new threat/take advantage of the event. I was thinking of having a system like this in the eRPG. Every now and then, I lay down hints and clues through each character's path that will lead to the event. If all the players follow it, they will end up in the same area dealing with the same threat, so there will be a lot of cooperation (hopefully!). I can set up cataclysmic events in the world of Myth that you have to deal with, and I think that might be fun. What do you think?
