Official AN19 Report

AN19 began with Forrest, Smeagol, and Vince Valentine. We discussed a difficult math problem Forrest had been thinking about, one he had seen on SATs, IQ tests, etc. The problem was, if h=9, b=h+t, and t=h+0.5b, what is h+b+t? Smea and Vince came to the same conclusion Forrest did, it's impossible to solve.

So Forrest hosted up a game, and we played the new ANb4 "Into The Breach". There was horrible lag, but we eventually got most of it to go away. Nevertheless, Forrest bumbed Jari into some Brigs and he got killed, so we lost.

Then WW, Nick, and SD joined. Nick hosted, but had some problems, so SD hosted instead. We played the ANb4 Baron, and won easily. Then, by popular (read: Forrest's) demand, we switched to TFL as I (God of the Asylum) ordained on the page a week ago.

So Forrest hosted up on TFL b.net, and we played Homecoming. Stupid people didn't guard the stupid Jman, who died, thus we lost. We went on to play Flight From Covenant and won! Then we played Shadow of the Mountain, and won! Then we played Across The Gjol, and won! Then we were gonna play Sons of Myrgard but Forrest clicked the wrong button and we played The Watcher instead.

But that was a good bit of luck. While playing, the topic of who built the ruins around there was brought up. Forrest said either Trow or Humans, and it was on the border of Trow territory. Someone pointed out that the engravings were similar to those on the Ibis Crown and inside the Tain, and them we all thought maybe this was an old Bruig city. Then Smeagol had the revelation that perhaps this was Stong, the city which Soulblighter had so decimated that it no longer appears on any maps! And I have to say, it's a convincing argument.

So we won, and went on to play Sons of Myrgard, and won! Then that damn lucky bastard SiliconDream went to screw his girlfriend. We poor celibate geeks played A Long Awaited Party and won, though 'twas a small consolation. Then we dispersed after 4+ hours of playing.
