Well, the latest Asylum night saw many interesting ideas come to light. I will not speak for the others, so I would put forth my own observations and ideas.
While we played "The Watcher" I noted that the shattered pillers that are found just north of the soulless companys are marked with a ten pointed sun. Similer marks can be found in "The Ibis Crown" and "Out of The Barriar".
This brought to mind several questions.
Keep in mind this is assuming the mark is significant to the Cath'Bruig empire.
1) Were the pillers part of a city so bady decayed that those battered stones where the only evidence that it ever exsisted?
2) If that is the case, what city was it and why was it so close to the heart of the old Trow empire?
3) Was it a city at all? Could the pillers be part of a smaller complex, a fortification or monistary?
Someone, I beleave it was Forrest, suggested it may be the remments of Stong, the city Soulblighter so ravished that it no longer appears on any map.
I think that it might have once been a place of magical learning, a school or hide away. perhaps the Watcher knew the area from his past? That would exsplain why he chose the place to wait for Alric.
Thats what I brought out of the meeting.
Respectfully,
Drunken Ghol
