I was just looking through the When section o' the encyclopedia, and I zipped to the end to see what the last entry was. It was about Balor decapitating the head. Hang on a sec, didn't GURPS imply that the dark gods decapitated the Head? Ah well, GURPS must be wrong, seeing as though the source that Forrest refers to says that Alric spoke of the battle when the Head lost it's body to Connacht. Not nessecarily! It seems that either,
a) Alric was wrong, he was a bit lucid at that point as I recall.
b) GURPS is either not implying that Segoth is the Head or is wrong.
c) The battle that Alric speaks of is a battle between Segoth and the Leveller (i.e. the Head and Balor). The dark gods decapitated Segoth, so the Leveller must be a dark god (who created himself!).
Sorry for the sillyness factor o' this post, but it is 1:00am almost and I need sleep!
