The seventeenth Asylum Night began three hours past noon (on the American Pacific coast), on the nineteenth day of February, two thousand years into the Common Era. Present that day were the personas of Forrest, Joyeuse, SiliconDream, Duckyjo, William Wallace, and Vincent Valentine.
Feh, enough verbosity! Ducky didn't have the plugin so he went to download it. SiliconDream hosted instead. Ducky got the plug quick and came back before we started the game. He announced that he would be absent for the next month and a half.
We tried to play the new (b2) AN-hax0red "Into The Breach", but Ducky's pet squirrel, combined with Sili's laggy host, Forrest's force field, and many other factors bogged the game down to unplayable levels. So we tried "Baron", which doesn't have the squirrel or force-field, but went OOS anyway. Blackhand joined us for that game.
Then Joy hosted instead, and Drunken Ghol joined. We tried The Baron again, and won! (Easily. That Shadow Wolf makes assasination missions a snap). Then we went on to play Gonen, and won that too! Then we played "Beyond The Cloudspine" and won! (I think we need to crank it up to Legendary next time).
So we went on to try the Great Library, but Joy crashed near the end. We've never done that level without crashing at the end. Some bug maybe? Anyway, Tleilaxu joined, Joy hosted up another game, and we went on to whoop "Landing At White Falls".
Somewhere in there things got mixed up where people couldn't join, or were left in another game, or something. So Joy, Forrest, WW, and Vince played the multiplayer hax0red "Pocahontis? I hardly know her!" - Joy and WW basically won, but the map was fux0red so the game couldn't properly end - while SiliconDream and the others played another game.
But we all got back together in the end and played "The Great Library" one more time. There was some horrible lag, but we won anyway. We went on to try "Gate of Storms", and got of to a horrible start, but we cleaned up later on. However, Alric was semi-berserked, so he refused to move or follow any unit-control commands. But we killed everything, and while the PHAT TRO BOI was on his way back to spin-KIK Alric to DETH, Shiver and her minions appeared on the docks and we lost. Odd. But it was fun!
