Milk Man informs me that GURPS contradicts my story for Legend of Gor-Ash in one minor detail: According to GURPS, the fir'Bolg live in the northern ermine and the bre'Unor live in the south.
This is OBVIOUSLY wrong.
The fir'Bolg have had FAR more contact with humans than have the bre'Unor. Human settlements such as avons grove are all around the southern Ermine, while only the Deep Mire and such border the north. The north seems like a far more secretive place.
On top of this, Through the Ermine, which took place in the north (north of the Meander River) was clearly in bre'Unor lands - there was a freakin' bre'Unor temple! This on top of everythin else proves that bre inhabit the north, and logically, fir'Bolg, the south.
I say we rebel and burn all our copies of GURPS. YOu know it was written by three obsessive compulsive dorks hired by Bungie who played through Myth like twice who felt a need to specify everything. They made up all this arbitrary CRAP that is now limiting mapmakers like me.
DOWN WITH GURPS!
