MC and RC attributes in Myth eRPG

I have spoken to several people who think that MC and RC should not be attributes in the Myth: RPG rules I am writing.

I know what you mean. Everyone has an intelligence value so Int must be there. Everyone can apply force with a blow so S must be there. Everyone has some sort of resistance to force so T must be there. Everyone has some sort of social level so Fel must be there. Everyone can resist force applied to the mind via magic or just plain taunting (!) so WP must be there. This leaves us with how good a character is at hand-eye coordination and delicate tasks, which begs the question: could one attribute cover both?
If a character has good hand-eye coordination, does that mean he is good at delicate tasks? Does hand-eye coordination mean you have a steady hand? I doubt it. I do not have a very steady hand, yet my drum teacher keeps telling me I have fantastic hand-eye coordination! So this leads me to believe that there must be a seperate attribute for each. DX would cover how steady your hand is.
Now, this other attribute. HEC (hand-eye coordination, I'll think of a better name later, don't worry!). Is a man who is good at hitting an enemy with a ranged weapon, perhaps a bow, equally good at swinging a light sword at a foe? I would say that it is considerably easier to hit a target up close as opposed to the standard range of a bow! Simple then, I apply a negative modifier to ranged combat and just use the HEC attribute for both right? Wrong. I think a fir'Bolg would slightly disagree with me there. I expect he would find it just as easy to hit a target far off naturally! Blimy, what do I do here! I know! Have two different attributes! One for close quarter coordination and one for ranged coordination! CC and RC!

I expect most of you will come up with problems to what I have just written, such as are the fir'Bolg naturally equal at ranged or is it all taught?. All I was trying to show is that I did think about this before I wrote the rules, and even those rules are not complete. I intended to fix things like this with the new rules.
I'm not stupid you know!
